46 athletes named to Academic All-Conference team

This week, Weber State University Athletics announced that 46 members of WSU sports teams have been named to the 2012 Fall Academic All-Conference teams.

Members from the football, volleyball, soccer, and men’s and women’s cross-country teams were named to the list. The best-represented team was the women’s soccer team, which had 14 players on the list. There were also 12 players from the football team, eight athletes from both the women’s cross-country team and volleyball team, and four from the men’s cross-country team.

In order to qualify for the Academic All-Conference team, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded three requirements: participation in at least half of the team’s competitions, a minimum 3.2 GPA and completion of at least one academic term.
